Concrete Calculator
Work out how much concrete a slab, column, beam or footing needs — plus the cement, sand and aggregate behind it.
Your figures
A 150 mm slab is 0.15 m.

About this calculator
Order too little concrete and you get a cold joint. Order too much and you pay for what goes back on the truck. This works out the volume for the four shapes that cover most of what gets poured on a villa site.
It also breaks the volume down into cement bags, sand and aggregate using a standard nominal mix, which is useful when you are batching on site rather than ordering ready-mix.
What it assumes
- Volumes are for plain concrete — reinforcement steel is calculated separately.
- Material quantities use a dry-volume factor of 1.54 and a 50 kg cement bag.
- Ready-mix suppliers usually have a minimum load; check before ordering small pours.
