About this calculator
Blockwork is where small measuring errors turn into a second delivery. Put the wall size in and this gives you the block count for the standard sizes used in the UAE, with an allowance for cutting and breakage.
What it assumes
- Assumes 10 mm mortar joints and standard running bond.
- Mortar at a 1:5 cement-to-sand ratio.
- Does not include lintels, ties, or reinforcement in the wall.
